Big News: 3 artists to be Augusts' Artist of the Month!

We're already halfway into July and you can expect August to come soon. Instead of putting up a poll where you guys vote for the following month's Artist of the Month, I'll have 3 artists to be August's AOTM all at the same time. First up is R&B/Soul singer Fantasia, who releases Back To Me on 24th of August. Along with Fantasia, Katy Perry and Jessie James will also be featured. All 3 artists will release their respective albums on the same date. Katy's is Teenage Dream and Jessie James' is Daughter of a Gypsy.

Big News: Miley Cyrus & Christina Aguilera to be June's Artists of the Month!

Two artists mainly Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera will be June's Artists of The Month. Christina Aguilera will be appearing as the first Artist Of The Month as her upcoming release Bionic will be available on the 8th of June and thus will be June's Artist of The Month for the first half of the month and followed by teen sensation Miley Cyrus who will be releasing her new album Can't Be Tamed on the 22nd of June and will thus be featured in the second half of the month.

Big News: We Are The Fallen - Artist of The Month for May!

As I've mentioned earlier, We Are The Fallen, a new rock band fronted by Irish lead singer Carly Smithson will be May's Artist of the Month. Their debut album Tear The World Down arrives May 10th in the UK and 11th in the US. Their debut single Bury Me Alive is available on iTunes and Amazon now. Big News: We Are The Fallen to be May's Artist of The Month

There's no major release in May besides rock band We Are The Fallen who will be releasing their debut album Tear the World Down on the 10th and 11th of May in the UK and the US respectively. Thus, I have chosen them to be May's Artist Of The Month, that is, until many artists announce a May album release at the eleventh hour, which isn't likely to happen. Their debut single Bury Me Alive is out now and if you haven't seen the album cover for Tear The World Down yet, here it is.

Big News: Jason Castro's April's Artist Of The Month

I didn't set up a poll for you guys to choose April's Artist Of The Month because there's really nothing much going on in April. Thus I've chosen folk/pop singer Jason Castro who will be releasing his debut self-titled full-length album on the 13th of April.

Big News: Artist of the Month - Jason DeRulo! March 2010

I first decided for Artist of the Month of March to be Emily Osment but it will instead by Jason DeRulo, who has hit the top of the charts all across the world. His self-titled debut album is in stores now. Go get it!

Big News: Artist Of The Month for March '10

Things are always slow in the music business this time of the year so Artist Of The Month is pretty difficult. I'm sure things will get better for April though. With hardly any album releases in March now, the only one that's notable is the still untitled debut album by Emily Osment that's tentatively set for a March 9th release. So, you can expect Emily Osment to be March's Artist Of The Month, that is unless new album release dates drop by.

Artist Of The Month: Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee releases her sophomore record Unbroken next year, which features AC Top 30 hit Had It All. Katharine beat newcomer Ke$ha, who just went to #1 on the Hot 100 and girl group Paradiso Girls to become January's Artist Of The Month.
