Jason DeRulo - Breathing [Music Video Premiere]

Over time, Jason DeRulo has proven himself to be quite reliable to give us some good tunes, some occasionally horribly trashy tracks (Don't Wanna Go Home, Whatcha Say, Ridin' Solo), but this is from the man that gave us In My Head, so he is somewhat forgiven. That said, for his second album Future History, he hasn't been able to produce a hit as massive as In My Head yet, and has already released two singles off the album - the clubby Don't Wanna Go Home and the by the numbers Bruno Mars type of song with It Girl, except without the raw gutsy vocal of Bruno.

Both ultimately forgettable numbers. Now he's on his third single, titled Breathing. Yes, Breathing is another one for the clubs, now that that's out of the way, by mainstream club tracks standard, this is actually decent. There's always the fear of the song going to shit thanks to cheap, generic production ala Nicole Scherzinger's new tune Try With Me, but it just never does. It just gets terribly worryingly close to it. The video for the track itself seems like Jason's a little over four days late for Halloween with the Halloween-themed clip.

Eh, it's no In My Head, but it'll do.

After the release of the music video for Someone Like You a while back, it's put the Adele track right atop the Hot 100 once again, pushing Maroon 5 and Moves Like Jagger to #2. Thanks to Airplay Gains, Rihanna vaults straight into the Top 10 at #9 this week with We Found Love after its debut at #16 last week. Jason DeRulo sneaks into the Top 20 with It Girl moving up to #18 this week while Bruno Mars' new track It Will Rain for the Twilight film debuts at #28 with Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All two places behind at the rim of the Top 30. Colbie Caillat's Brighter Than The Sun moves to a new peak of #69 this week, then there's the weekly Glee chart invasion with Somewhere at #75.

Over on the albums chart, J. Cole runs to #1 with Adele sitting at #3 behind the new Blink 182 album. Demi Lovato's Unbroken takes a ten spot slip to #14.

The Christina Aguilera-assisted single Moves Like Jagger may be still on top of the Hot 100, but come next week, Adele and Rihanna could overthrow Maroon 5 and Xtina, especially with Adele's Someone Like You collecting the Airplay Gainer Title while staying firmly at #2. Rihanna's new single We Found Love makes a Top 20 appearance, debuting at #16 this week while Jason DeRulo's new track It Girl rises to #24. Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All takes a three spot slip down to #38. Disney starlets Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez move up the chart with Demi's Skyscraper standing at #55 while Selena's tune Love You Like A Love Song is right behind with #56. Glee is back for a new season and so are its tunes, with It's Not Unusual debuting at #65, You Can't Stop The Beat at #67 and We Got The Beat at #83. It's the release weeks of Demi Lovato's Unbroken album, and album cuts Fix A Heart and title track Unbroken land on the chart at #69 and #98 respectively.

Over on the albums chart, Tony Bennett's Duets II album opens at #1, trailed by Lady Antebellum's Own The Night, Adele's 21 and Demi Lovato's third studio album Unbroken in that order to #4.

Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger collaboration with Christina Aguilera is still dominating the Hot 100, trailed by Adele and Someone Like You at #2, picking up the Airplay Gainer Title. Rihanna just premiered her new single We Found Love, but last single from previous album Loud, Cheers (Drink To That) has just risen to a new peak of #8. Jason DeRulo's It Girl has gone up 8 spots to hit a new peak of #30. Kelly Clarkson's new single Mr. Know It All has fallen off the rails a little, dropping to #35 this week after a debut at #18. Hopefully with promotions in full swing, Kelly's single heads up next week. Colbie Caillat's Brighter Than The Sun is inching its way up, with the summery track hitting #71 this week while Adele's Set Fire To The Rain stays put at #72.

Lady Antebellum's Own The Night sits comfortably atop the Album Charts, while Adele's 21 holds strong at #2.

It seems the MTV VMAs can only do so much. Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera's Moves Like Jagger dethrones Adele's Someone Like You from the #1 spot after only one week with Maroon 5 and co. picking up the Digital Gainer title while Adele settles for #2. Rihanna just sneaks into the top 10 of the Hot 100 with her bland new single Cheers (Drink To That) at #10, making it upteenth Top 10 single on the Hot 100. Despite RCA screwing her over and over, time and again, Kelly Clarkson powers through as her new single Mr. Know It All debuts at #18 on the chart this week. Jason DeRulo's It Girl is really leaping up the chart, vaulting up to #38 up from #61. Demi Lovato is still continuing on a upward trend as Skyscraper rises to #60. Poor Beyonce. It seems being pregnant only gets you so much press, and Love On Top plummets half the spots of the Hot 100, falling from #20 to #70 this week. Adele's got another track round the corner as Set Fire To The Train makes a new peak of #72. Colbie Caillat's latest Brighter Than The Sun moves up to #82 while American Idol winner Scotty McCreery lands himself at #84 with The Trouble With Girls. After a multiple year of absence on the Hot 100, everyone's favourite childhood pop star JoJo has finally made a return with the pop/rock stomper Disaster debuting at #87.

Over on the albums chart, Lil Wayne holds strong with Tha Carter IV hogging the top spot, closely followed by Brit sensation Adele at #2.

The annoying Party Rock Anthem has found its way to the top of the Hot 100, trailed behind by Pitbull's Give Me Everything. Katy Perry seems unable to move past #4 with her latest single Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.). But it appears OneRepublic is on track to score their first mega hit since Apologize went to #2 a couple years back, with latest single Good Life vaulting into the Top 10, collecting the Digital Gainer Title standing at #8 this week. Jason DeRulo and Britney Spears are also both heading upwards this week, with Don't Wanna Go Home moving up to #16 and I Wanna Go rising to #17. Beyonce could very well get her first proper hit this era with Best Thing I Never Had rising to #23. Putting two mega country stars together often means big sales, and Brad Paisley's collaboration with Carrie Underwood on Remind Me seems to be doing a neat job for itself, hitting a new peak of #27 with virtually no promotion. And this streak of moving upwards is even affecting Disney darling Selena Gomez and her hypnotically robotic new single Love You Like A Love Song leaping from #66 to #35 this week. Rihanna's summer ballad California King Bed is also inching its way to the top, moving to #47 this week. You thought you'd never see this day coming, but Nicole Scherzinger's Right There seems to be rubbing American audiences the right way, peaking at #52 this week while fellow reality TV singing competition judge Jennifer Lopez, amidst her divorce with husband Marc Anthony, moves up the chart with I'm Into You at an all time high of #72. Avril Lavigne's new single Smile has finally arrived on the Hot 100, debuting at #94.

Over on the Albums Chart, Beyonce and Adele are non-movers with 4 and 21 holding the top two positions on the chart in that order while Selena Gomez & Her Virtual Band's new disc When The Sun Goes Down rises a spot to #3 after debuting at #4 last week. David Cook, however, has taken a little tumble as This Loud Morning falls from #7 to #26 this week. For reasons no one knows, the soundtrack to Christina Aguilera's debut film Burlesque scoops the Greatest Gainer Award as the album shoots up to #68 up from #147. British pop artist Ellie Goulding has found her way back to the chart as Lights re-enters at #127.

The Top 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 remain untouched for yet another week with Adele's Rolling in the Deep remaining at #1 while Pitbull's Give Me Everything follows closely at #2. Jennifer Lopez' Pitbull-assisted track On The Floor falls to #7 this week. Jason DeRulo and OneRepublic take a slight dip to #18 and #20 with their latest tunes Don't Wanna Go Home and Good Life respectively. Katy Perry, however, is rocketing up the chart with her new single Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) shooting to a new peak at #31. Brad Paisley's Remind Me, a duet with Carrie Underwood, debuts at #59 thanks to digital downloads, while Rihanna enters the Top 60 as California King Bed creeps up five spots to #60 and Man Down making a new peak at #63. Beyonce's new single Best Thing I Never Had momentarily moves up, hitting an all new high of #75. Moving up at the minute too is Nicole Scherzinger and Right There moving up to #80. Jennifer Lopez isn't about to be outdone, as I'm Into You also heads further up the chart at #88 this week from #96 last week. Selena Gomez & The Scene's iTunes promotional single Bang Bang Bang impacts the chart at #94.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way album has been replaced by monster album Adele's 21. As Britney Spears' Femme Fatale Tour kicks off to stellar reviews, the album the tour supports moves up to #23 up from #37 last week.

OneRepublic's sleeper hit Good Life is heading nowhere but up as it makes a new peak of #16 this week while Jason DeRulo rises a spot to #17 with his latest tune Don't Wanna Go Home. Selena Gomez & The Scene's Who Says sits right outside the Top 30 at #31 while Scotty McCreery's Idol coronation single Love You This Big slips to #35 in its second week out alongside runner up Lauren Alaina who falls to #60 with Like My Mother Does. After making a new peak at #29 last week, Beyonce's Run The World (Girls) falls a sharp drop to #55. Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) re-enters the Hot 100 at #63 now that it's released as an official single. Rihanna's California King Bed and Man Down are both on the rise as they both make a new peak at #65 and #66 respectively. Album release week, second single Judas, though considered a flop by Gaga's standards, has re-arrived at #78. Beyonce's new rush released single Best Thing I Never Had enters at #84. Girl.. Get yourself together and save this era before 4 becomes flop fodder. Oh wait. It already is. Regardless, 1 + 1 rounds out the Top 90 at #90 this week. All this X Factor USA controversy has paid off for Nicole Scherzinger as Right There moves up six spots to #91. Jennifer Lopez' current single I'm Into You has found its way to the chart again at #96.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way still reigns supreme over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart but suffers a huge sales drop after it's million-selling first week while Adele holds strong at #2 with 21.

Unsurprisingly, Adele has collected another week at #1 with Rolling In The Deep spending yet another week at the top, trailed by Pitbull's new single Give Me Everything, Katy Perry's E.T. and JLo's On The Floor in that order. Lady Gaga has launched back into the Top 10 with The Edge of Glory getting the Digital Gainer title and leaping 11 spots back up to #8 thanks to the American Idol performance. American Idol winner Scotty McCreery however, has debuted right outside the Top 10 at #11 with Love You This Big and runner up Lauren Alaina's Like My Mother Does debuting at the rim of the Top 20 at #20. In just its second week, Jason DeRulo's latest chart assault Don't Wanna Go Home has skyrocketed from #92 to an amazing feat of #18. Ever since Run The World (Girls) debuted on the Hot 100, Beyonce's female-empowering anthem has been heading nowhere but down, but she has actually headed up this time, launching herself to a new peak of #29 while new single 1 + 1 debuts at #57. Glee's Light Up The World debuts at #33, Pretending at #40, For Good at #58, I Love New York/New York New York at #81, and As Long As You're There at #93. Lady Gaga's album tracks You And I and Marry The Night debuting at #36 and #79. Rihanna's on her way up with California King Bed making a new peak of #66 alongside urban single Man Down at #94. Nicole Scherzinger on her second week, and probably last with Right There has fallen 20 spots to #97.

Predictably, Lady Gaga has taken the poll spot with million-selling Born This Way bowing at #1. Scotty McCreery's Idol recordings has been compiled by iTunes and the album debuts at #12 while Lauren Alaina's set debuts at #42. Christina Perri's Lovestrong falls to #32.

After some promotion, Beyonce's Run The World (Girls) still flops but returns to the Top 50.. right at #50. Glee's Pure Imagination debuts at #59, Back To Black at #82 and My Man at #94. This week sees two new arrivals with Nicole Scherzinger and Rihanna's Right There and California King Bed respectively debuting at #77 and #80. Taylor Swift's new single The Story of Us moves up to #88 while Jason DeRulo's Don't Wanna Go Home arrives at #92.

Adele manages to secure herself another week atop the Billboard 200 Albums Chart while JLo's Love? falls out of the Top 10 at #12 this week. Christina Perri's debut album Lovestrong is a further 2 spots away at #14 in it's second week out.

Jason DeRulo - Don't Wanna Go Home [Music Video Premiere]

I'm still not totally convinced on this song, but Jason DeRulo has definitely brought an entertainer to life within that body of his and stepped up his game with the video for his new single Don't Wanna Go Home. But while I was watching this video, I just couldn't help but think of Ciara, especially when he started to dance with the demale lead in the first set and scene of the video and was just thinking how hot a collab between Jason and Ciara would be. Mmmmm.. Kinda like how Ciara's Turn It Up with Usher could've turned out, huh?

Rihanna recently hit #1 on the Hot 100 with second single What's My Name? featuring Drake, but now, the lead single from upcoming set Loud has hit the top of the Hot 100 as she collects her ninth #1, becoming the first artist in history to ever have the second single from the album hit #1 before the first single. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Drake-assisted track What's My Name? has slipped to #8 despite getting the Airplay Gainer title for a second week in a row. Could P!nk be on her way to collect another hit #1 with Raise Your Glass? Seems like it. The track surges to #2 this week and might rise again next week after the high profile appearance at the AMAs. Ke$ha's We R Who We R rises to #4 this week after slipping to #6 last week. Katy Perry's Firework is also creeping up the charts, hitting a new peak of #6 for the popstar's latest single. The Glee cast have crashed the Hot 100 yet again this week, as Forget You and Singing In The Rain/Umbrella debut at #11 and #18 respectively. Last week's big Glee track Teenage Dream falls to #36, but still charting strongly compared to other Glee tracks. The Black Eyed Peas fall to #13 with their latest single The Time (Dirty Bit). Awww, looks like not everyone's liking the new track eh, Peas? Another freakishly talented singer Jackie Evancho with her debut EP O Holy Night debuts at #2 while pop megastar Rihanna has to settle for third place for Loud, but also boasts her best first week sales yet. Glee's Christmas album debuts at #8 while Taylor Swift's Speak Now falls to #9. P!nk's Greatest Hits... So Far! debuts at #14 this week. Lee DeWyze' post-Idol debut Live It Up has become the lowest-selling Idol debut album since Kris Allen debuted at #11 with his self-titled post-Idol debut album, entering the chart at #19, selling roughly 39, 000 copies. Oh dear. Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas II You falls to #22 this week while her first Christmas album Merry Christmas surges up to #124.

Nothing much going on in Jason DeRulo's latest music video for his upcoming single The Sky's The Limit. Besides the fact that it's still not as In My Head, though a lot less annoying compared to Ridin' Solo, DeRulo's been a hit worldwide and I'm sure this one will conitinue his success internationally.

Katy Perry's debut album One of the Boys is also moving up, this week to #79 up from #90 last week. In its 10th week, Christina Aguilera's latest album Bionic falls a spot to #84. Sara Bareilles' debut album Little Voice has re-entered the chart at #96 thanks to the success of King of Anything, her latest single taken from sophomore album Kalaidescope Heart to be released in September.

Eminem's five week domination with Recovery on the Billboard 200 albums chart has ended thanks to Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare replacing Recovery at #1 this week while Recovery salls to #2. Adam Lambert's debut album For Your Entertainment makes a move up to #70 this week.

A couple of music's biggest stars have been spotted out and about shooting their music videos for their latest single releases. First up is Christina Aguilera's who's been struggling with her latest release Bionic and its singles. She's returned to her roots for her third single, You Lost Me, the big ballad I have said over and over again about its wrong timing. The clip above shows Christina filming You Lost Me, should look interesting. And is it just me, or does she look a decade younger?
