Ne-Yo new track: One In A Million

Ne-Yo's lead single Beautiful Monster from upcoming album Libra Scale hasn't done well at all, forcing Ne-Yo to put out an urban single Champagne Life which is doing only slightly better. Thus, Ne-Yo has pushed Libra Scale backwards to October 19th. Ne-Yo's got a new single in the works, which is what we have here, called One In A Million. Hopefully, he'll do better with this release though I wish he'd release something like Closer or Miss Independent. Nevertheless, enjoy!

Billboard Update.

Eminem & Rihanna's collaboration on Love The Way You Lie stay put at the top of the Hot 100 while Katy Perry remains at #2 with California Gurls. Rounding out the Top 10 for a second consecutive week is Jason DeRulo with Ridin' Solo. Katy Perry's latest single Teenage Dream debuts at #20 on the Hot 100 thanks in part to high digital downloads. Carrie Underwood's Undo It remains strong at #24 for a second week. OneRepublic and Selena Gomez & The Scene are on the climb as Secrets and Round & Round move up to #35 and #37 respectively. Also on the upward trend is Ne-Yo's latest single Beautiful Monster standing at #53 this week while his R&B/Urban single Champagne Life makes a debut at #75. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts and Sara Bareilles' King of Anything stand at #63 and #64 respectively. Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You stays put at #69 this week. Ke$ha's latest single Take It Off has found its way into the Hot 100, re-entering at #92 this week.

It's same ol' same ol' on the Billboard 200 albums chart as Eminem takes top spot again this week with Recovery. Thanks to her success with her singles, Katy Perry's debut album One of the Boys has returned to the Billboard 200 albums chart at #70 this week. OneRepublic's Waking Up hit #112 this week thanks to the success of Secrets.

Ne-Yo new track: Hurt Me

Ne-Yo's ready to make his big splash on the music industry again with his latest singles Beautiful Monster and Champagne Life and his upcoming album Libra Scale. The singles are still climbing the Billboard charts but we already have a new album track in our hands. This new uptempo number Hurt Me fits in with the album theme and I'm quite liking this. Enjoy!

Billboard Update

Katy Perry may still be on top of the Hot 100 with California Gurls again this week, but this isn't going to last. Apparently, it'll slip to #2 next week while this week's #2 Love The Way You Lie, Rihanna and Eminem's collaboration will take top spot. Jason DeRulo rounds out the Top 10 this week with Ridin' Solo. Ke$ha and Lady Gaga are stuck together again with Your Love Is My Drug and Alejandro at #12 and #13. Alicia Keys' latest single Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) rises to a new peak this week, sitting just outside the Top 20 at #21. Carrie Underwood's Undo It's still pretty strong, sitting at #25 this week. Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You is still climbing up, hitting a new peak of #48 this week. Selena Gomez & The Scene's Round And Round continues to slip, falling to #53 this week. Ne-Yo's Beautiful Monster hits a new peak of #56 this week. Surprisingly, Christina Perri's debut single Jar of Hearts is also another single that's climbing the charts as the track hits #58 this week. Sara Bareilles' snazzy new single King of Anything however, falls to #63 this week. Another single on the rise is OneRepublic's Secrets, hitting #70 this week. Adam Lambert and P!nk's If I Had You and Glitter In The Air are at #73 and #74 respectively. Miranda Cosgrove's Kissin' U is also getting back on track, hitting #82 this week. Fantasia's latest single Bittersweet enters the Hot 100 at #94.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Eminem holds the top spot again in its third week on the chart. Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed has slipped out of the Top 10, dropping 2 spots to #11 this week. Christina Aguilera's Bionic also falls 2 spots, this week sitting at #34. Daughtry's latest release, Leave This Town: The B-Sides debuts at #70 while the parent album flies up to #66. Selena Gomez & The Scene's Kiss & Tell also shoots back up, hitting #78 this week. Thanks to the success of second single Secrets, OneRepublic's album Waking Up has returned to the chart, re-entering at #184.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry's summer anthem racks up another week at #1 on the Hot 100, once again holding off Eminem and Rihanna's Love The Way You Lie. Jason DeRulo's Ridin' Solo hits a new peak of #9 this week. Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug seems to always be stuck with Lady Gaga's Alejandro, with both songs at #11 and #12 respectively. No fear for Ke$ha fans though, Take It Off will be the new single. Justin Bieber's latest Somebody To Love creeps up to #15. Alicia Keys' Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) is back on its way up, moving up to #24 this week. Carrie Underwood's Undo It also moves up and hits #27 this week. Selena Gomez & The Scene's latest release Round And Round falls 24 spots down to #48 this week. Sara Bareilles' sassy new single King of Anything hits a new peak at #51 this week. Colbie Caillat's single I Never Told You is another creeper, hitting a new peak #56 this week. After a stunning performance of Beautiful Monster at So You Think You Can Dance, Ne-Yo's new single breaks the Top 60 this week sitting at #60. A newcomer Christina Perri breaks the Hot 100 with the raw ballad Jar of Hearts, which shot to the Top 10 of the iTunes chart after being featured on So You Think You Can Dance and it has reportedly sold 47, 500 copies, debuting at #63. P!nk's Glitter In The Air is going up once again, hitting #75 this week while Lady Antebellum's Our Kind of Love enters the Top 80 at #80. OneRepublic's latest single Secrets re-enters the charts at #83. Adam Lambert's If I Had You moves up to #85 thanks to digital downloads. After a relatively short chart run with radio-friendly single Kissin' U, Miranda Cosgrove's catchy pop/rock number moves back up to #88 after re-entering the chart last week.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Eminem hogs the top spot with his latest album Recovery while The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's soundtrack flys to #3 the movie itself opened at #1 at the box office. In its second week out, Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed falls to #9. Alicia Keys' The Element of Freedom goes back up to #27. In its fourth week out, Christina Aguilera's Bionic falls 10 more spots down to #32 this week.

Ne-Yo - Beautiful Monster live @ So You Think You Can Dance

The song's still a little haunting for summer but this performance was fantastic. Fantastic.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry holds on to the top spot on the Hot 100 for yet another week trailed behind by Eminem and Rihanna's collaboration for Love The Way You Lie. Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug drops to #8 and Lady Gaga's Alejandro falls to #9 while Jason DeRulo's latest single Ridin' Solo shoots up to #10, making it his third consecutive Top 10 hit on the Hot 100. With the release of her new album Can't Be Tamed, Miley Cyrus' lead single and title track jumps back into the Top 20, sitting at #18 this week. Teen pop sensations Selena Gomez & The Scene's Round & Round debuts at #24, making it her highest charting single on the Hot 100 yet, while the other teenage sensation Justin Bieber's latest single Somebody To Love moves up to #25. Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You keeps inching its way up, rising to #58 this week, trailed behind by Sara Bareilles' snazzy new single King of Anything which debuts at #59. Ne-Yo's brand new single Beautiful Monster falls down one spot to #65. Remember one of the songs on Miley Cyrus' new album Can't Be Tamed I singled out to be a stand out ballad? Guess what, the stand out ballad Stay debuts at #75 this week thanks to digital downloads. Miranda Cosgrove's teen-friendly pop/rock debut single as a proper recording artist Kissin' U re-enters at #93 while Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You debuts at #94.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Eminem sells well over 750, 000 copies of Recovery, which lands him a spot at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Miley Cyrus' latest album Can't Be Tamed debuts at #3, selling a meagre 102, 000 copies in its first week. (Anyone remember the disappointing album sales of Christina Aguilera's Bionic and she's been trying hard to keep afloat? Careful, Miley). Speaking of Bionic, which has been on the chart for a third week now, it hasn't just slipped out of the Top 10, it's slipped out of the Top 20 altogether, holding unsteadily at #22. Round And Round, Selena Gomez & The Scene's lead single from their upcoming sophomore album might not be available on their debut album, but it seems Kiss & Tell is seeing the effects of Round And Round hitting #118 up from #152 the previous week. After I feared that Charice's debut international album Charice would fall of the charts this week after slipping all the way to #173 last week, she has rebounded back at #139 this week. After Katy Perry's domination on the Hot 100, it's not surprising her debut album has found its way back in the chart, re-entering at #175.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry's California Gurls continues to dominate the Hot 100 while Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug slips 1 place to #5 this week. After the music video premiere, Lady Gaga's Alejandro moves back to its peak at #6. The Black Eyed Peas stay put at #9 with Rock That Body. Jason DeRulo's latest single Ridin' Solo hits its peak at #19, trailed behind by previous single In My Head. Alicia Keys' latest single also makes a move up to #22, along with Carrie Underwood's Undo It, rising to its current peak at #23 while Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed falls 2 spots to #24. Justin Bieber's contribution to The Karate Kid soundtrack featuring star Jaden Smith comes in the form of Never Say Never, which debuts at #33. The 2010 FIFA World Cup's Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) performed by Latin artist Shakira debuts at #44. Usually on album release weeks, the lead single from the album will start picking up digital downloads, but Christina Aguilera's latest studio album Bionic has picked up a higher charting single on the Hot 100 compared to its second single WooHoo featuring female rapper Nicki Minaj, Bionic the title track makes a debut at #66. But it isn't all hopeless for Bionic's lead single Not Myself Tonight, it re-enters at #75, hopefully it starts to go up again now while second single WooHoo re-enters the Hot 100 at #99. Beautiful Monster, Ne-Yo's latest single, also the lead single from his upcoming album debuts at #67. I'm not sure why it's started to go up again, but P!nk's Glitter In The Air is rising the charts again, moving up to #86 this week.

Glee's latest soundtrack bows at #1, beating out The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's soundtrack which arrives at #2. Christina Aguilera's brand new album Bionic bows at #3. Colbie Caillat's Breakthrough returns to the Top 100 as the album moves up to #100. Charice's self-titled debut falls to #156.

Ne-Yo new track: Beautiful Monster

Ne-Yo has been working on a new album lately and here's what he's managed to produce. Beautiful Monster serves as the lead single for his brand new album Libra Scale. This upbeat dance/R&B number wasn't exactly what I expected (a haunting ballad) but nevertheless, it's pretty catchy. Beautiful Monster isn't as good as previous singles Closer and Miss Independent from his last release Year of the Gentleman but Beautiful Monster could go on nicely to be a hit. Enjoy!
