Drive-By Truckers announces March tour

After Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley finish a series of solo shows early this year, they'll come back together with Drive-By Truckers to hit the road in March.

The tour will bring the band to the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Tuesday, March 5. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 18, via Ticketfly for $22.

Chatham County Line announces 2012 Electric Holiday Tour

The holidays are just around the corner which means that local string band Chatham County Line are preparing to strap on some electric instruments and head off on their annual Electric Holiday Tour in a few months.

The band will head back to the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Friday, December 21. Ticket info is not available yet. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $15.

Sufjan Stevens announces Christmas Sing-A-Long tour

Indie singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens will hit the road between Thanksgiving and Christmas on a holiday tour which he has dubbed the Surfjohn Stevens Christmas Sing-A-Long: Seasonal Affective Disorder Yuletide Disaster Pageant on Ice.

The tour will come to the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Sunday, November 25. Sheila Saputo (an alias of singer-songwriter Rosie Thomas) will open the show.

Midtown Dickens & Matthew E. White to play Saxapahaw

Durham quartet Midtown Dickens and Virginia musician and bandleader Matthew E. White both just played the Hopscotch Music Festival last week and now they're teaming up for a big show in the Triangle.

The pair will play the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Saturday, November 17. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $10.

Will Johnson & Anders Parker announce fall tour

Singer-songwriters Will Johnson (of Centro-Matic) and Anders Parker are teaming up for a fall tour that will feature the pair playing mostly house concerts, but they'll make a stop in the Triangle for a more traditional gig.

The two will play the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Tuesday, September 18. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $10.

Bowerbirds to play Saxapahaw in the fall

After returning to the states after a European tour in August and before heading out on a fall tour of the U.S. in October, Bowerbirds will come home for a big show in the Triangle.



The band will play the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Saturday, September 22. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $12.

Heartless Bastards announces fall dates, coming to Saxapahaw

Ohio rockers the Heartless Bastards released a new album earlier this year titled Arrow and have announced a few new fall dates in support of it.

The band will play the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Halloween, October 31. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for $16.

Kathleen Edwards announces fall dates, coming to Saxapahaw

Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards is hitting the road again this fall in support of her latest album Voyageur and she'll be coming back to the Triangle.

Edwards will play a special trio performance with Jim Bryson and Gord Tough at the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Friday, October 26. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketfly for 20.

Dr. Dog announces fall tour, coming to Saxapahaw

Philadelphia rockers Dr. Dog will spend a large portion of the summer and fall supporting their latest album Be the Void and will make their way to the Triangle and four other N.C. towns.

The band will stop at the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw on Monday, November 5. Cotton Jones will open open. Tickets will go on sale at noon on Friday, June 15 via Ticketfly for $20.

The Tallest Man on Earth announces new album & summer tour

Swedish singer-songrwiter Kristian Matsson, better known as The Tallest Man on Earth, will release his third album, There's No Leaving Now, on June 12 via Dead Oceans Records. He'll spend the summer traveling across the U.S. and Europe and will be stopping in the Triangle.

Ketch & Critter of Old Crow Medicine show announces March tour, coming to Saxapahaw

Founding members of the supurb string band Old Crow Medicine Show, Ketch Secor and Critter Fuqua, are teaming up for a short tour as a duo in March and will make their way to the Triangle.
