Diamond Rugs kicks off tour at The Pinhook with Gross Ghost

The Love Language announces fall dates, big Raleigh show

As of yet, there's still no word on when The Love Language's long awaited third album will be out, but following the band's big day party during the Hopscotch Music Festival, the band have announced another big Raleigh show.

Stu McLamb and his accomplices will play the Lincoln Theatre on Friday, November 9. Gross Ghost and The Toddlers will open. Tickets are on sale

Superchunk plays deep cuts, classics at the Cradle

Thursday night brought hometown heroes Superchunk back to their home court, the Cat's Cradle. As the band had been teasing on Twitter leading up to the show, they pulled out some deep, deep cuts for the set.

Racing the Cure benefit brings local music community together

Friday night was quintessentially North Carolinian. Super stars came back to their roots, The Tar Heels and the Wolfpack battled in the Sweet 16, and a music community used its powers to support Oliver Gant, a young boy battling cancer. The event raised over $45,000 from ticket sales and a silent auction.
