Andrew Bird announces summer tour, coming to Raleigh

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Andrew Bird is hitting the road on a summer tour in support of his new album Break It Yourself. The tour will make a stop in the Triangle with a stellar opener, legendary singer Mavis Staples.

Bird and Staples will play the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh on Tuesday, July 10. Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1 via Etix for $25 (

Neko Case announces summer shows, coming to Raleigh

Back in 2010, songstress Neko Case was scheduled to play the North Carolina Museum of Art's summer concert series but unfortunately had to cancel her tour. Almost two years later, she'll finally make up the the show when she heads out on a summer tour.
