Billboard Update

They're trailed by Party Rock Anthem following closely at #2 while last week's #1 Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), Katy Perry's own summer anthem, takes a tumble to #5. OneRepublic hit a new peak of #8 with Good Life. Rihanna picks up the Digital Gainer Title for her new single Cheers (Drink To That) and sits comfortably outside the Top 10 with the track hitting an all time high so far. Lady Gaga and Adele both see bumps to the Top 20, with Gaga's You And I flying from #35 to #16 while Adele's ballad Someone Like You vaults from #34 to #19. Billboard Update
Yes yes let's just get this part out of the way, Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) is still #1 on the Hot 100, followed by LMFAO's Party Shit Anthem at #2. Now for the more interesting part, Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 have collected the Airplay Gainer title for their collaboration on Moves Like Jagger, standing strongly at #4. Britney's I Wanna Go rounds out the Top 10 at #10. Rihanna shoots up to #17 with latest single Cheers (Drink To That) while the single is still rising up the ranks on the iTunes chart. Lady Gaga picks up the Digital Gainer Title and You And I skyrockets to #35 on the Hot 100. Lady Antebellum's rather bland single We Owned The Night debuts at #47 while Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's Don't You Wanna Stay re-enters at #50. Demi Lovato's ballad Skyscraper is starting to make its way up again, rising to #76 this week. They keep tryna make this girl happen: Nicole Scherzinger's new US single Don't Hold Your Breath did really well in the UK, but now being plastered all over VEVO, Scherzinger's landed at #86 on the Hot 100. Colbie Caillat's Brighter Than The Sun finally makes an appearance on the Hot 100, arriving at #90 this week.

Lady Gaga - The Edge of Glory [Music Video Premiere]
Gaga has been on a downward spiral since her peak during the later part of The Fame era and after the brilliant Judas flopped, Gaga has returned to the generic sound ala Born This Way with her latest single The Edge of Glory. The video almost put me to sleep. It's just Gaga running around, gyrating her way about a street at night. Meh.

Billboard Update
Adele's Rolling In The Deep spends yet another week at #1 while Pitbull fails to nab the top spot for the second week in a row as Give Me Everything gains the Airplay Gainer Title but stays strong at #2. With no promo, Bruno Mars launches into the Top 4 with The Lazy Song making a new peak at #4. OneRepublic's sleeper hit Good Life is heading nowhere but up as it makes a new peak of #16 this week while Jason DeRulo rises a spot to #17 with his latest tune Don't Wanna Go Home. Selena Gomez & The Scene's Who Says sits right outside the Top 30 at #31 while Scotty McCreery's Idol coronation single Love You This Big slips to #35 in its second week out alongside runner up Lauren Alaina who falls to #60 with Like My Mother Does. After making a new peak at #29 last week, Beyonce's Run The World (Girls) falls a sharp drop to #55. Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) re-enters the Hot 100 at #63 now that it's released as an official single. Rihanna's California King Bed and Man Down are both on the rise as they both make a new peak at #65 and #66 respectively. Album release week, second single Judas, though considered a flop by Gaga's standards, has re-arrived at #78. Beyonce's new rush released single Best Thing I Never Had enters at #84. Girl.. Get yourself together and save this era before 4 becomes flop fodder. Oh wait. It already is. Regardless, 1 + 1 rounds out the Top 90 at #90 this week. All this X Factor USA controversy has paid off for Nicole Scherzinger as Right There moves up six spots to #91. Jennifer Lopez' current single I'm Into You has found its way to the chart again at #96.
Lady Gaga's Born This Way still reigns supreme over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart but suffers a huge sales drop after it's million-selling first week while Adele holds strong at #2 with 21.

Billboard Update
Unsurprisingly, Adele has collected another week at #1 with Rolling In The Deep spending yet another week at the top, trailed by Pitbull's new single Give Me Everything, Katy Perry's E.T. and JLo's On The Floor in that order. Lady Gaga has launched back into the Top 10 with The Edge of Glory getting the Digital Gainer title and leaping 11 spots back up to #8 thanks to the American Idol performance. American Idol winner Scotty McCreery however, has debuted right outside the Top 10 at #11 with Love You This Big and runner up Lauren Alaina's Like My Mother Does debuting at the rim of the Top 20 at #20. In just its second week, Jason DeRulo's latest chart assault Don't Wanna Go Home has skyrocketed from #92 to an amazing feat of #18. Ever since Run The World (Girls) debuted on the Hot 100, Beyonce's female-empowering anthem has been heading nowhere but down, but she has actually headed up this time, launching herself to a new peak of #29 while new single 1 + 1 debuts at #57. Glee's Light Up The World debuts at #33, Pretending at #40, For Good at #58, I Love New York/New York New York at #81, and As Long As You're There at #93. Nicole Scherzinger on her second week, and probably last with Right There has fallen 20 spots to #97.
Predictably, Lady Gaga has taken the poll spot with million-selling Born This Way bowing at #1. Scotty McCreery's Idol recordings has been compiled by iTunes and the album debuts at #12 while Lauren Alaina's set debuts at #42. Christina Perri's Lovestrong falls to #32.

Billboard Update
Wahey. Adele's lodged another week at #1 on the Hot 100 with Rolling In The Deep getting the Airplay Gainer Title, while Katy Perry stays strong at #2 with E.T.. After the not exactly embarrassing flop that was Judas, Gaga's official third single The Edge of Glory Top 3 debut seems more by Gaga's usual standards. Jennifer Lopez slips three spots to #6 with On The Floor. Glee's cover of this week's #1 Rolling In The Deep enters at #29, while the rest of this week's covers follow suit with Friday at #34, Jar of Hearts at #49, Isn't She Lovely at #65, I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance at #72 and Dancing Queen at #74. Lady Gaga new track: The Edge of Glory

After bringing us the frankly quite terrible Born This Way, Lady Gaga followed this up with the bloody fantastic Judas, and we've unfortunately slipped into mediocre territory now. Well at least, mediocre for someone of Gaga's calibre. The Edge of Glory is the first iTunes promo single, jumping on a trend Carrie Underwood jumpstarted (or at least restarted) for her Play On album back in November in 2009, then adopted by many other pop stars such as Taylor Swift, Christina Perri, Ke$ha and most recently, Jennifer Lopez.
The Edge of Glory is another one of those ballads, albeit a rather forgettable one. But I'm still loving all these single covers with the big hair (bar the Born This Way album cover, that just looks terrible), and I'm definitely looking forward to next week's release Hair. Mmmmm.

Katy Perry somehow manages to stay another week at #1 with E.T., holding off Adele and Britney Spears, with Rolling In The Deep getting the Airplay Gainer title and at #2 while Britney gets the Digital Gainer title with Till The World Ends at #3. Bruno Mars vaults into the Top 5 with The Lazy Song moving up a spot to #5. Jennifer Lopez remains strong at #7 with On The Floor while Lady Gaga's Judas has slipped to #20 this week. Glee's slew of debuts this week is led by I Feel Pretty/Unpretty at #22, followed by Somewhere Only We Know at #42, Born This Way at #44 and As If We Never Said Goodbye at #80. For the first time, Jessie J's Price Tag has headed downwards to #25 this week after making a peak at #23 last week. Beyonce has slipped to #48 in its second week of release with Run The World (Girls) while OneRepublic has shot up to #66 with Good Life. Colbie Caillat's on the way up again as I Do rises to #75. Adele's Turning Tables, however, has fallen to #85, but that's not all too bad considering the mournful ballad hasn't even been released as a single yet.
Adele has lodged herself another week on top the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with 21 while Britney Spears' Femme Fatale has returned to the Top 4 at #4 this week. Jessie J's Who You Are has fallen to #51 in just its third week of release. After the American Idol stint, Crystal Bowersox managed to re-enter the albums chart with Farmer's Daughter coming in at #184.

Billboard Update
After a performance on American Idol last week, Katy Perry's managed to come back to the top of the Hot 100, stopping the seemingly unstoppable force that is Adele's Rolling In The Deep, which skyrockets up to #2, getting the Digital Gainer Title. Bruno Mars' latest The Lazy Song flies into the Top 10 at #6 this week while Jennifer Lopez falls closely behind at #7 with On The Floor. Ke$ha's also returned to the Top 10 with Blow hitting #9 this week. Two of the planet's biggest pop stars Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have both been ousted of the Top 10, with Britney's Till The World Ends and Gaga's Judas falling to #11 and #12 respectively. There she goes again. Taking her time up the chart is Jessie J as Price Tag moves up one spot to #23 this week. Selena Gomez has vaulted back into the Top 30 with Who Says hitting one spot away from its' peak position of #24 so far. Beyonce's new single Girls has sneaked its way into the Hot 100, entering at #33. Adele's gorgeous Turning Tables has finally made its way into the Hot 100 at #63 while Glee's covered version debuts at #66, along with another track they covered last week on the show, All By Myself at #87. OneRepublic close in on the Top 80 as Good Life sits 2 places outside at #92. Colbie Caillat refuses to budge with I Do at #97 while Jennifer Lopez' new promo single Papi debuts at #99.
Getting the Greatest Gainer title is Adele over on the albums chart as #21 remains at #1. I think this could really be the album that will launch her to a bona fide superstar. Glee's new unnecessary album of The Warblers debuts at #2 while Britney slides back into the Top 5 as Femme Fatale rises a spot to #5. Jennifer Hudson's new album I Remember Me is sliding down the chart quickly as Hudson falls to #39 only in its fifth week out. Jessie J is heading the other way on the albums chart, with Who You Are plummeting to #42 in its second week of release. Miranda Cosgrove makes a reappearance on the chart at #134 this week with High Maintainence.

Rihanna goes on to collect a record-breaking 10 #1s on the Hot 100 with S&M featuring Britney Spears seeing a humongous amount in digital downloads to get the Digital Gainer title and overtake Katy Perry's E.T., which has dropped to #2, to take top spot. Adele shoots up the chart once again with Rolling In The Deep making a new peak at #6. Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga round out the Top 10 with On The Floor moving a spot up to #8, while the Britster falls a spot to #9 and Gaga makes a chart debut at #10 with Judas. Bruno Mars' latest chart assault The Lazy Song narrowly misses the Top 10 but gains a new peak of #11. Jessie J's Price Tag is turning out to be a mega hit for the British songbird as it hits an all time high of #24. Jennifer Hudson falls to #88 with Where You At. Colbie Caillat's I Do has managed to re-enter the Hot 100 sneaking in at #97 while OneRepublic are at #98 with Good Life.
The Foo Fighters are everywhere, this time getting their first #1 album in the States with Wasting Light, while pushing Adele's 21 to #2. Britney's Femme Fatale takes a slip to #6. Jessie J's Who You Are isn't doing too badly, debuting at #11 on the chart.

Lady Gaga new track: Judas

After overtaking the charts with her record-breaking #1 self-empowering anthem Born This Way, Lady Gaga is back with her next single and I think.. It sounds spectacular. Judas sounds like something straight out of a 70s disco jam loaded with beats and synthesizers. It's not a straight up club track as usual with Gaga taking on religion with Judas. But with the shiny production going on the track, it's easy to overlook the controversial or not subject matter and appreciate the fact it's a pretty good song.

Katy Perry has finally overtaken Lady Gaga, as E.T. surges forward, hitting #1, making it Perry's fourth consecutive chart topper, while Rihanna and Cee Lo Green are right on her tail, with S&M making a new peak of #2 while F**k You! moves up a spot to #3 while Gaga herself falls to #4. Jennifer Lopez' addictive club stomper On The Floor has flown up to #10, after making a tiny slip to #13 last week. Adele's Rolling In The Deep has returned to the Top 20, hitting #17 this week, just a couple spots away from its peak so far at #13. Christina Perri, Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne are at #21, #23 and #24 respectively with Jar of Hearts, Till The World Ends and What The Hell. Selena Gomez' Who Says falls to #28 after debuting at #24 last week. Bruno Mars continues to fly up the chart, with Marry You making a new peak at #37. Taylor Swift's newie makes a re-appearance on the chart as Mean re-enters the Hot 100 at #90. A new song from Ke$ha's new remix album, F**k Him He's A DJ debuts at #97.
Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, is Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. on top, while Jennifer Hudson's I Remember Me debuts at #2, shoving Adele to #3 as a result. Avril Lavigne falls a sharp drop to #24 with Goodbye Lullaby falling 17 spots down. Ke$ha's I Am The Dance Commander + I Command You To Dance The Remix Album arrives on the chart at #36. Billboard Update
Surprise surprise. Guess who's #1 on the Hot 100 still? Yup, Born This Way still reigns over the Hot 100, with Katy Perry's new offering E.T. quickly gaining some serious steam, peaking at #2 while Rihanna rises to #3 again with the Airplay Gainer Title. After scoring another Top 10 hit a couple weeks ago with their cover of Teenage Dream, Glee has done it again, debuting at #6 with Loser Like Me. The Glee effect continues with Get it Right at #16, Raise Your Glass at #36, Blackbird at #37, Misery at #52, Hell To The No at #53 and Candles at #71. Unfortunately, Jennifer Lopez' On The Floor has taken quite a fall, falling to #13 this week. Hmmm, time for some much-deserved promo, J.Lo? Oof. In it's third week out, Britney's Till The World Ends dips from #9 to a shocking #23, while Selena Gomez & The Scene debut right behind at #24 with Who Says. Jessie J moves up a little again with Price Tag making a new peak at #54. How about a performance on American Idol then? Jennifer Hudson makes a move up to #89 with Where You At. Expect that to move even further up with album release week and a promotional spot on Idol. Christina Perri's melodic new single Arms debuts at #94 this week. Miranda Cosgrove's current single Dancing Crazy debuts right at the rim of the Hot 100 at #100.
Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Adele rises again to take poll spot with 21 right at the top while Avril Lavigne's Goodbye Lullaby falls three spots to #7. Miranda Cosgrove's new EP High Maintainence debuts at an unimpressive #34. After a performance on American Idol, Season 9's Lee DeWyze is back on the charts with Live It Up re-entering at #96.

Billboard Update
Lady Gaga spends her fifth consecutive week at #1 with Born This Way with Cee Lo Green's F**k You trailing behind her once again. Looking to lodge her fourth consecutive #1 track from Teenage Dream is Katy Perry with E.T. rising to #3 thanks to strong digital sales, while Rihanna slips a spot to #4 with S&M but gets the Airplay Gainer Title. Staying strong at #5 is Jennifer Lopez with On The Floor while Britney Spears leaps to #9 on the Hot 100 with her latest single Till The World Ends. Unfortunately, Ke$ha's Blow has fallen right to the rim of the Hot 100, falling to #10 this week. Moving up to #18 this week is Avril Lavigne's What The Hell, trailed behind by Christina Perri's breakout hit Jar of Hearts at #19. Glee's invasion on the Hot 100 is led by Landslide, debuting at #23 with Do You Wanna Touch Me, Animaland Kiss following suit at #57, #62 and #83. Jessie J shoots up with Price Tag peaking at #58 this week. Bruno Mars' The Lazy Song rises to #72 this week, making a brand peak. Jennifer Hudson's Where You At finally makes its chart impact, debuting at #96. Album track Wish You Were Here from Avril Lavigne's new album Goodbye Lullaby debuts at #99.
Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Lupe Fiasco's new album Lasers ends Adele's chart reign as Lasers debuts at #1, pushing Adele's 21 into second place. Glee's new Volume 5 soundtrack debuts at #3 while Avril Lavigne's Goodbye Lullaby arrives at #4, making it her lowest-selling album so far in terms of first week sales. Bummer. With little to no promotion, Ellie Goulding's Lights was quietly released to the States, debuting at #129. Even I didn't know the release was so soon. Rubbish promotion. Sara Bareilles chart-topping album Kaleidoscope Heart re-enters at #192.

Billboard Update
The top 2 on the Hot 100 stay intact, with Cee Lo Green's Forget You closely behind Lady Gaga's Born This Way, which tops the Hot 100 for a 4th consecutive week. Rihanna's just creeping into the Top 3 with S&M. Another #1 for her? I think so, yes. Jennifer Lopez is doing incredible for herself right now, with On The Floor zipping up to the Top 5, only lagging behind P!nk's F**kin" Perfect. Rushing into the Top 10 is Ke$ha, whose latest single Blow peaks at an all-time high of #7 this week. Shooting up the chart as well is Jar of Hearts, the breakout hit from Christina Perri which peaks at #17 this week. Adele, however, falls to #18 with Rolling In The Deep. Britney Spears' new single Till The World Ends debuts at the rim of the Top 20. Is it just me, or is this Katy Perry's California Gurls and Teenage Dream all over again? Especially with the latter and Till The World Ends debuting at #20 while the albums' lead singles were all at higher positions on the chart. Slipping just a spot to #23 is Avril Lavigne's What The Hell while Jessie J gains some traction on the Hot 100, with Price Tag jumping to #78 this week.
Adele's 21 continues to top the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week. Exactly what made this happen, I'm not sure, but the soundtrack for Burlesque has leaped more than a 100 spots up, hitting a new peak of #18 this week from #140 last week, getting the Greatest Gainer title.

Billboard Update
Lady Gaga continues to dominate the Hot 100 with Born This Way holding the #1 spot for a third consecutive, with Cee Lo Green refusing to let go as F**k You! gets the Airplay Gainer Title again for the second week in a row at #2. Some risers this week include P!nk's F**kin' Perfect and Rihanna's S&M, moving up to #4 and #5 this week, with S&M reaching a new peak this week. Katy Perry gets the Digital Gainer Title with new single E.T. featuring Kanye West rocketing up to #8. I wouldn't be surprised if this one hits #1 as well. Jennifer Lopez has finally gotten hit she's worked so hard for with On The Floor featuring Pitbull debuting at #9 this week. Also moving up the Hot 100 rapidly is Ke$ha and Adele - two artists on opposite spectrums of pop music, but nonetheless, both of their latest singles Blow and Rolling In The Deep respectively flying up to new peaks of #11 and #13 respectively. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts continues going strong - remaining at its peak of #21 while Avril Lavigne slips to #22 with What The Hell. Glee's Hot 100 invasion this week starts with Don't You Want Me debuting at #49, with the other tracks Blame It (On The Alcohol), Tik Tok following suit, debuting at #55, #61 respectively. Adele's so-gorgeous-it's-impossible-not-to-fall-in-love-with-it ballad Someone Like You debuts at #65 this week, while another album track Set Fire To The Rain arrives at #88. Thanks to the almighty powers of VEVO and YouTube, Jessie J still hasn't disappeared from the Hot 100 yet, with Price Tag lingering around at #93 after a slip to #99 last week.
Over on the album's chart, there's nothing interesting to take note of except for the fact that Adele's landed her first US #1 album - with 21 shifting an impressive 352, 000 copies in its first week - while 19 gets the Greatest Gainer Title, flying up to #16 from #50.
