A song by American recording artist Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me” was released as the first single from her 7th studio album Female Fatale. This song was written by Max Martin, Binnie Mckec, Lukas Gottwald, Mathiew Jomphe & Billboard and was produced by Luke ,Martin & Billboard.

“Hold It Against Me” was composed with hard beats that contrast with spears vocals. It includes elements of grime featuring industrial & trance beats; in short it be called as a dance pop song the second chorus is followed by a dub step influenced breakdown & the final chorus contains a smattering of rave chords & the song has a sudden end.
A lyric of the song “Hold It Against Me” means the singer is seducing someone on the dance floor. “Against Me” is classic Britney – said by Brad Wete of Entertainment Weekly, but he also critized on the ground that Spears did not enter any new territory lyrically & that there was not much growth when compared to other singles.
